Route : Ha Noi - Hoa Binh - Ha Noi - Cuc Phuong National Park - Ninh Binh - Quang Ninh - Ha Noi - Sapa - Ha Noi

Day 1 : Hanoi – Arrival (D)
Meet up with your guide at Noi Bai Airport. Check in hotel, have dinner.  Free at own leisure to explorre ancient Hanoi with bustling small streets at night.

Day 2 : Ha Noi – Mai Chau – Lac village of Thai People (B/L/D)
After breakfast at hotel, we will head out of town to travel to Mai Chau Region. This mountainous region is home to the Muong, H’mong, White Thai ethnic minority groups whom you will have the opportunity to meet on your expedition. Upon arrival, have lunch at Lac Village of Thai minority. Afterwards trek to small peaceful villages around. Meet and exchange culture with friendly Thai people. Overnight in Lac village  where you can enjoy colorful dances of the ethnic groups.

Day 3 : Mai Chau – Ha Noi (B/L/D)
Breakfast at Thai village, transfer back to Hanoi for a half day city tour to the most popular attractions such as Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, and traditional stilt house in Ho Chi Minh Museum,  The temple of Literature. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 4 : Ha Noi - Cuc Phuong National Park trekking (B/L/D)
This morning we will head to Cuc Phuong National Park. Upon arrival, we’ll visit Endangered Primate Rescue Center and the Botanic Garden. We then return to guest house for dinner and a restful night.

Day 5 : Cuc Phuong  – Ninh Binh – Hoa Lu  (B/L/D)
Wake to the singing of gibbons and the sounds of the surrounding forest. After breakfast, the car will bring you to the Cave of Prehistoric Man, where you can reenter the Stone Age through your explorations. Drive another 2km from the cave for a 9km hike to visit the Ancient Tree before having a picnic lunch in the forest. Head back to the main road for a drive to Ninh Binh, stopping en route at Capital Hoa Lu to visit temples of two Kings: Dinh and Le. Walking up and down the countryside and enjoy the marvelous scenery of the ancient capital. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day 6 : Tam Coc – Ha Long (B/L/D)
After breakfast at hotel, we’ll visit Tam Coc (Three Caves) by cruising on a smal boat, you will find yourself lost in the imposing scene of sky, cloud, mountain and water, then make a short cycling tour  along the quiet green fields to Thai Vi Temple.  Get on coach to visit Bich Dong . Head out to Ha Long Bay. Overnight in Ha Long.

Day 7 : Ha Long boat cruise-Hanoi-Sapa ( B/L/D)
Early breakfast at hotel and start our journey with a four-hour cruise around magnificent Ha Long Bay which will give us the chance to take in the stunning scenery of this World Heritage Site. While on board we will be served a sumptuous fresh, local seafood lunch followed by a swim and exploring some of the limestone caves in this area. Get off board to drive back to Ha Noi.  Upon arrival, have dinner, enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Show until time for the night train with soft bed sleeper to Lao Cai.

Day 8 : Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van homestay with Zay minority (B/L/D)
Upon arrival Sapa, we will have breakfast and start our adventure by trekking down to the south east of Sapa alongside Muong hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’Mong, then keep walking down to Lao Chai village and have lunch. After lunch, we will continue our trekking to Ta Van of the Zay People where we spend our night at. Dinner with a local family, it’s a worthy chance for you to get to know the local houses full up their daily life styles and specific custom.

Day 9 : Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai Village (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we will continue to trek in Ta Van and down hill to Giang Ta Chai village where Red Dao ethnic people live. Finish trekking at the main road where our coach will pick you up and drive you back to Sapa. Have lunch, free at own leisure until time for driving to Lao Cai station for the night train back to Ha Noi.

Day 10 : Hanoi  - Departure (B)
Breakfast, free & easy for shopping at Dong Xuan market till transferring to the airport for your flight back home.
